CESAR Project Strategy

CESAR follows the ARTEMIS multi-domain apporach bringing together partners from four different domains: Avionics&Space, Automotive, Rail and Automation. Further to these industrial partners, CESAR has a strong participation from SME's, research organizations and academia.

: CESAR Multi Domain Approach

The domains are reflected in the Domain-SP's which are SP5 (Automotive), SP6 (Avionics), and SP7 (Automation & Rail). There is a strong cooperation between the Domain-SP's and the Innovation-SP's: SP1 (Reference Technology Platform), SP2 (Requirements Engineering) and SP3 (Component Based Development).

The Domain-SP's provide information about their gaps and needs in safety-critical devleopment to the Innovation-SP's. The Innovation-SP's turn solutions over to the Domain-SP's who are evaluating them in applied pilot applications. The process described represents an innovation cycle that will be repeated 2 times in CESAR.
